Lul-lay myn lyking, my dere sonne, my sweeting,
Lul-lay my dere herte, myn own dere derling.

The same Lord is he that mayd alle thing,
Of alle lord is he Lord, of alle kynges Kyng,

Lul-lay myn lyking, my dere sonne, my sweeting,
Lul-lay my dere herte, myn own dere derling.

Theyre was a myckle melody at that chylde's birth,
Alle that were in heavn'ly bliss, they mayd so myckle myrth,

Lul-lay myn lyking, my dere sonne, my sweeting,
Lul-lay my dere herte, myn own dere derling.

Angels bryte sang theyr song to that chyld,
Blyssid be thou, and so be she, so meek and so mylde,

Lul-lay myn lyking, my dere sonne, my sweeting,
Lul-lay my dere herte, myn own dere derling.

It's finally my 15th, next Friday - I can't bloomin' wait :) At last I don't have to go into films I want to see illegally XD

Doing some really depressing English coursework =/ On that note I leave already >.<'

If I were a flower growin' wild and free,
All I'd want is to be my sweet honey bee,
And if I were a tree growin' tall and green,
All I'd want is you to shade me and be my leaves,

All I want is you, will you be my bride?
Take me by the hand and stand by my side,
All I want is you, will you stay with me?
Hold me in your arms and sway me like a sea!

If you were a river in the mountains tall,
The rumble of your water would be my call,
If you were the winter I know I'd be the snow,
As long as you were with me let the cold winds blow!

All I want is you, will you be my bride?
Take me by the hand and stand by my side,
All I want is you, will you stay with me?
Hold me in your arms and sway me like a sea!

If you were a wink then I'd be a nod,
If you were a seed, well I'd be a pod,
If you were the floor, I'd wanna be the rug,
And if you were a kiss, I know I'd be a hug,

All I want is you, will you be my bride?
Take me by the hand and stand by my side,
All I want is you, will you stay with me?
Hold me in your arms and sway me like the sea!

If you were the wood, I'd be the fire,
If you were the love, I'd be the desire,
If you were a castle, I'd be your moat,
And if you were an ocean, I'd learn to float,

All I want is you, will you be my bride?
Take me by the hand and stand by my side,
All I want is you, will you stay with me?
Hold me in your arms and sway me like the sea!

Back to Church Sunday for us Anglicans x3

  • Listening to: 5 Years Time - Noah and the Whale
Well well, it's Back to Church Sunday today, the day to get everyone who abandoned church back in some distant history to come again. Despite my truly horrible cold I was in the music group singing this morning, and I'm going back to be in choir for Holy Communion tonight...

October's going to be a busy month. Every weekend's pretty much taken up, but at least the stuff's all good, so it's not like it's a chore. The first weekend I'm helping at a fair, then going to a fair, then singing in the choir at both Harvest services (and with any luck going to the harvest lunch). Then I'm going to show new little'uns round my school and the weekend after (a day after my 15th, yay) I'm going down to help my grandparents move into their new flat in Devon :) The weekend after that is MCM (FINALLY) and then Halloween, so October really is packed full.

Ugh... Yesterday, I decided to go out for a bit of fresh air to clear my cold, so got on my bike and set off. Consequently, I got lost and ended up 20 miles from home =/ My bum aches, just a little bit.

Blarg... Coursework to do now >.>>'

General Update; September 18th

So, yet more weeks have gone by since the last journal! I really doubt anyone reads this thing anymore (in fact I've long since wondered whether I actually get any page views anymore XD) If you are a follower of this then here we go (though now it's really just more of a personal blah space).

MCM London Anime Expo is in 36 DAYS! I can't wait, especially as my school friends and I hope to go to a mini-rave in the evening (I never miss a rave ^^). I laughed until it hurt when Andrea showed me the MCM guns and props policy - I think everyone will be arrested as a suicide bomber before they get anywhere near the event (1.5 metre guns are welcome, peoples).

As soon as we've got back we've had coursework, and I've been really stuck as to what to write for my first piece of English; a short story of around 1000 words. I've finally come up with a story set in WW2 - I'll be posting it up when I've submitted it for the GCSE as I don't want to be accused of cheating or plagery ^^'

Another thing coming up is my BIRTHDAY (I'm 15, at long, long, LONG last), which leaves access to horror movies galore that I previously snuck into wearing a whole truckload of slap. I also feel a little freer at 15, not sure why, but I'm certainly much more grown-up these days (she says unsurely). :D

Yet ANOTHER thing coming up is the annual Goose Fair in Nottingham (yes peados, I live here so naaah), which hopefully a group of us are going to - if we get through the most dangerous part of the city without being raped, offered drugs, mugged or gunned down...

Got some happy birthdays to wish to folks - Happy b'day Sarah (penguin wishes be with you), Stephie (android wishes be with you), Emma (... wishes be with you...? O.o) and Killian (shamrock wishes to you an' all). I'm jealous >.>> I want my birthday now! I don't want to have to wait another bloomin' 28 days!

Off to Blackpool tomorrow (to get my little stick of rock - probably shaped like a cock... >.>> )

Right, that's quite enough waffle for now. Speak soon folks :)

General Update: September 4th

  • Listening to: Lannigan's Ball - Trad. Ireland
Arghhh... Back to school next Wednesday, but right now, I'm boring myself to death.

Hmm. Interesting fact. See if you can read this sentence.

The sewet paceh was exrtmely tsaty and I lkeid it vrey mcuh.

Some university somewhere has found out that if the first and last letter of a word are the same, even if the ones inbetween are in a scramble, we can still read it without too much of a problem. Nice.

ANYWAY, now you've had that very random fact of the day, I'm here to go on...

Only 48 days left to the anime expo! I can't wait to buy myself some cat ears ^^ And of course, to meet a good few of my internet friends, where I hope we'll get on as well as we do online :P

I've started the grade 8 piano course - and I nearly fainted the sight of the pieces/scales the rotten sods have set me at the board this time - are they really trying to kill me?

I haven't done much this last week - went into town once, and went to the park last night with a big group of friends. Rather strange experience for reasons in more than one - some people have odd senses of humour (that might be alcohol related, I dunno) O.o' I got basically mobbed by my ex and his friend, especially the ex, who wouldn't stop coming onto me >.>' When enough was enough I lost my temper ^^ Ended up whacking him one, in rather a sensitive place XD

Apart from those, I've just been slobbing at home and watching Jeremy Kyle... Ah, bliss.

*dies of boredom*
*only wrote this journal to try and get rid of boredom*
*fail*

'Nuff said T_T'

- Ellie

Edit: Actually, this said, I may go drag some souls to the park... Better to die of boredom in company...
NO! I CAN'T! EVERYONE'S BLOOMIN' BACK AT SCHOOL BUT ME! GAH! GRAH!
Well, SOME people *coughirishboysdowntheroadcough* are staying the rest of the week off (lucky arses) but I don't fancy going to the park with them thanks *folds arms*
If I become any more bored even they may have to do =/

Sixth Sense

Mistakes can be a bad thing. They can be an annoyance, hurt, cause pain and even, in some cases, kill. But sometimes, just sometimes, is a mistake really the way to bring good?

After all, from the one mistake of Carmen Whitefeather in loving a stranger - a god of a great and higher authority - and the mistake to be made by her only daughter that would apparently trigger the fall of the very deepest darkness - surely it can be proved that something done wrongly is not always such a bad thing?

Then, he wrapped a gentle arm around her waist, holding her close and kissing her tenderly, and she responded by sliding her own arms around his neck and kissing him back. She barely noticed as he slowly pulled her down to the earth, only realising when she was laid back on the dusty forest floor, him still kissing her lovingly as though she was the most beautiful thing in the world. He stopped for a moment, brushing his nose to hers and then smiling as she kissed him again, as the two of them became lost in their own romance and the world around no longer mattered to them...

Sometimes, one small thing can change the course of a life.
And in this case, it would seem that Ma Sedna’s words held the truth – for unbeknown to anyone at the time it happened, it was the birth of Satu Whitefeather that would come to change everything.

Sixth Sense. The very world will be changed, by one girl, by several mistakes.
